Our foraging events really are a unique way of spending the day with true experts but spaces do get booked quickly so we suggest you reserve your space soon.
Autumn is a wonderful time to forage; mushrooms are bountiful in woods and meadows with at least 130 species of fungi recorded in this area including Earth Stars and Bird's Nests, Beefsteaks and Chicken of the Woods so we are confident that all our Autumn forages will be very productive.
After a full morning of foraging, Carl will fill hungry stomachs with a range of delicious tasters all cooked using your foraged ingredients before everyone receives a Goodie Bag full of information sheets, recipes and a selection of wild food products including Homebaked Sourdough, dried, biodynamic mushrooms and wild soup.
Tickets cost £75 which include a full two hour guided forage followed by an hour long cooking demonstration (held in a local village hall approximately a seven minute drive away) and the Goodie Bag.

* We are unable to offer refunds once booked - dates may be transferable after booking but usually only with 6 weeks' notice.
* In the event of cancellation due to extremely adverse weather conditions, we will make every effort to offer you a mutually convenient alternative date.

Whilst we will do our very best to cater to individual physical restrictions and dietary requirements, the forage takes place outdoors in all weathers and the cooking demonstration takes place in 'field kitchen' conditions rather than a purpose-built catering kitchen.
