Christmas comes to the heart of Ipswich


This Sunday on the Cornhill – the town centre comes alive with the taste and smells of the Christmas Ipswich Artisan & Producers Market

As Ipswich town centres awakens to the sound of Christmas shoppers, there will be plenty of noise and activity on the Cornhill this Sunday December 3rd at the Ipswich Artisan & Producers Market.

Keeping the festive spirit in the town centre, Suffolk Market Events has brought a  wonderful mix of local artisan producers to The Cornhill to give an extra joyous feeling to all those Christmas shoppers

Justine Paul, owner of Suffolk Market Events; It’s so important to maintain Ipswich as a fun and vibrant town and this festive market will create a great Christmas atmosphere on the Cornhill. I’m sure everyone will enjoy the mix of stalls and there is some really tasty food to enjoy on the day’

There will be plenty of fresh street food to eat on the day including Indian street food from Coriander Kitchen or a range tasty Neapolitan pizzas from the Little Pizza Company and local favourite Avi will be back with his bagels. There is a great choice of pies & cheese from Hoskyns Deli and The Cheese & Pie Man, plus jams & chutneys from Bev’s pantry and chilli sauces from Badgers Chilli Kitchen.

There a fantastic mix of stalls including vegan pastries from The Norwegian Bakers, profiteroles from Butterfingers plus cakes and bakes from Baked for the Road and delicious brownies from the Essex Bakery! Riverford Organics come with fresh veg boxes including some lovely giveaways.

Wash it all down with some local ale from Jack Rabbit, or craft spirits from Stardust Spirits and flavoured vodkas from Richer Spirits.

There’s fresh barista coffee from The Coffee Station as well as fresh coffee beans from Maldon Coffee Company.

There will also be a great mix of craft stalls including x-mas gifts from Retro Gifts, crafts from CraftsNGifts, homeware from DeMarie Ceramics and jewellery from Sage & Seasalt and Timeless Jewellery

Over twenty-five stalls will be filling the Cornhill so it’s a perfect way to stay local, get outdoors and shop in the fresh air in the heart of the county town.

Market runs form 10am – 3pm
