Sudbury Farmers' Market
Sudbury Farmers' Market was taken over by Suffolk Market Events in May 2012 and rescued from the brink of closure and today it is one of the busiest town centre farmers' markets in Suffolk, attracting hundreds of shoppers through the doors every month.
The market is held on the last Friday of every month in the beautiful venue of St Peter's on Market Hill, right in the centre of town, and it really is the perfect place to stock up on all your food shopping.
Over thirty traders fill the venue selling a fantastic range of the very best, fresh, local produce and a small selection of the highest quality, hand produced crafts. Produce on offer includes local venison, pork from Assington, beef from Cratfield, home baked cakes from Boxford, local honey, freshly baked pies and bread, jams and chutneys and an amazing selection of locally grown fresh vegetables.
There is also a wonderful café, run by the Sudbury based charity, The Bridge Project, serving delicious scones, sandwiches, great coffee and freshly baked cakes.
