Our popular farmers market on The Traverse in the heart of Bury St Eds returns for the first time this year on Sunday.
Our regular artisan producers are all lined up to offer you their best local produce – fresh with very few food miles.
As it is February and we’re all past `Dry January’ let’s start with Artefact Brewery, award winning company from Ixworth, who will be showing off their delicious local craft ale, likewise Brooks & Conquest will have their local cider and not forgetting Dalham Mill Company who will have their craft gin to tempt you.
Colletts Farm has their longhorn beef, pork and lamb as well as delicious fresh raw milk, Norfolk Smokehouse has fresh and smoked fish plus plenty of organic veg from Sunshine & Green from Cavendish. There’s pies and regional cheeses from Compleat, jams and chutneys from Karen’s Kitchen, honey from BeeHouse, chilli jam from Mad Mikes, oils from PG Oils and a wonderful range of spices from the Suffolk Spice Company.
If you’re peckish then there are plenty of treats on hand from Mena with her samosa and paneers, fresh bagels from Bagel & Beigel, burgers (meat & vegan) from Burger Jam, Doodle Donuts, fresh breads and pastries from Wooster’s Bakery plus more treats from Alex Artisan Bakery, Casey’s Cakes and Norwegian Bakers. Your four legged friends don’t miss out either with lots of treats and accessories from Hollibels.
We will have a number of crafts stalls including the White Candle Company, jewellery from Zebra Culture and the Suffolk Silver Spoon Company and eco products from LadyBirdStitches.
We’ll be there from 10am – 3pm and don’t forget there is free parking in Bury till 1pm
