Come along to our Christmas Artisan Evening Market on Saturday 14th December on the piazza outside The Mercury Theatre. From 4pm we will have a great range of local produce, street food and crafts with a very festive flavour.

Look out for stalls selling freshly baked cakes, brownies and cookies from The Alabama Biscuit Company, The Essex Bakery and Crumbs Alive. Donuts and patisserie from local favourite Victoria Yum, there’s handmade pies and local cheeses from Hoskyn’s Deli plus jams & chutneys from Karen’s Kitchen and Sticky Pickle Company as well as Chunky chocolate from Temprd, fudge from Woodlands Bakeaway plus wine from Bromley Brook Vineyards as well as craft ale from Jack Rabbit Brewery and gins and spirits from Meadow Oak Distillery and kombucha from Scobys Ferments.

There’s great craft stalls selling a perfect selection of unique gifts including Hare Cottage Crafts, soaps from Evergreen, upcycled block print accessories from Charlotte, hand crafted chopping boards from Arubis and stunning jewellery from Sage & Seasalt and Andrew Wright.

Bring your dogs as we have special treats from Boos Bakery!

Join in with some carol singers at 5pm with a glass of mulled wine from the theatre bar and make sure you bring an appetite as we have delicious Street Food including Neapolitan style pizzas from The Little Pizza Oven, Indian Street food from Tikka Tonic and chicken burgers from Peck.
