We’re bringing lots of tastes and smells to the piazza outside the Mercury Theatre as this farmers markets gets more and more popular.

Twenty-five producers are lined up to fill the venue on Friday 1st April including Essex honey from Beehouse Honey Company, cakes & bakes from Alex Artisan Bakery, vegan pastries from Norwegian Bakers as well as delicious brownies from the Essex Brownie Company. Many of the regulars will be there too including Wigborough Traditional Meats with their range of local meats and pies, organic vegetables from Lauriston Farm, sausages from Totham Bangers and a range of smoked meats and fish from Phoenix Smokery. Granola comes from Good to Go, fresh bread from Tensheds Bakery, chilli jams from Mad Mike plus jams & chutneys from Karen’s Kitchen. Look out for homemade pies and local cheeses from Compleat and if that all makes you thirsty there will be craft beer from Roughacre and gin from Matopos. There’s hand cream and soaps from Thistle & Rose plus candles and melts from Smith Co Goods plus Charlotte brings her unique decorative hand block printed functional cotton paper and card items for everyday use.
