Following the great success of the Taste of Sudbury last year in its `out of town’ location at Long Melford, plans are already well in place to ensure 2023 is even better.
With Melford Hall closed for outdoor events this year, the festival is delighted to be located in the grounds of Kentwell Hall, against the backdrop of the stunning Tudor mansion, this is the perfect location for all the wonderful tastes and smells at this one-day festival.
`Supporting local producers and celebrating local food and drink has been the core focus and theme of the festival for several years. It is so important, and indicative of the success of the festival, that we have several local businesses that support the festival and that we have enormous numbers of visitors who enjoy the festival each year. Coming to Kentwell Hall is somewhat serendipitous as I believe Kentwell Hall was the venue for one of the first farmers markets in the area over 20 years ago – it all makes perfect sense to come here’ states Justine Paul who part of the team that the runs the festival.
Likewise Kentwell Hall commented; `Judith and Patrick Phillips are delighted to welcome the Taste of Sudbury festival to Tourney Park at Kentwell Hall. A worthy and valued local event in a lovely Kentwell setting. We are very excited.’
