The success of any vegan market we take part in depends on 3 things. There's us, the Makers of the vegan ready meals. There are the Takers the customers who come to try and buy our food. Then the Movers and Shakers at Suffolk Market Events who take care of every last detail, a winning combination!

Attending markets is the highlight of our month, and the ones run by Suffolk Market Events are by far our favourite (and most successful) ! We are continually impressed by the enthusiasm and commitment that Justine & Alex bring to each market which makes their events a pleasure for stallholders and shoppers alike.

The markets provide a fantastic opportunity for small businesses to build a local customer base and a fantastic foundation to build upon. Alex and Justine do a brilliant job of organising and promoting the markets to ensure good turnouts in all weather conditions year round, and the customers are able to enjoy a wide variety of produce available with the opportunity to support their local economy.'

Norwegian Bakers are passionate about quality local food, served locally and face to face between the producer themselves and the customer. So, what could be better than farmers' markets. Except, people told us when we first started five years ago, that they were dying out. So how lucky for us that someone recommended Suffolk Market Events. We discovered a hive of activity delivering the very markets we love in numerous villages and towns. We have realised how hard Justine and Alex work to deliver high-quality produce and to give the markets the best promotion possible. We have gone from strength to strength thanks to the opportunities they give small businesses like us.

I have been trading with Suffolk Market Events now for 2 1/2 years. In that time, I have gone from trading at 1 market a month, to 7. All thanks to the support of Justine & Alex and the team, whose insight & support has enabled the farm to grow, and to build a good regular customer base. Their ethos of locally sourced produce is in line with our firm belief in the journey between farm & plate being as short as possible, and that every part of our livestock has value, from nose to tail, (even if the pigs head is a bit much!). We're looking forward to working with Suffolk Market Events for many more years to come, regardless of the weather, not even global pandemics can put them down! Suffolk Market Events has helped our little Suffolk company survive the pandemic, quite literally. They provide such well organised and attended markets around Suffolk even in these terrible times. They also provide the best local traders and have a great reputation. We are so grateful to them working tirelessly to provide a great service for the traders as well as the public!

Suffolk Market Events is everything to a small trader, they source the locations, and permissions as well as promote and inform the general public of events, so we can concentrate on doing what we do... which is brew beer!! Though-out this difficult trading period they have helped us to navigate new working practices to keep the pubic and ourselves safe. It’s great to be able to offer people the choice of local hand produced goods with a ready made market shop front, which would not happen without Justine & Alex!

We started our pie business along side Suffolk Market Events about a year ago and with their support and our loyal customers we have grown with every market every month. Suffolk Market Events are certainly one of the most important elements in making Hoskyn”s Handmade Pie Company (compleat caterers) a great success. We Hand make every pie using seasonal local ingredients where possible making working with Suffolk Market Events a great match.

I have been able to reach more people with the farmers markets, as with the different locations they bring a community of people who want to support small local businesses.

I have known Justine and Alex for 10 years and have done farmers markets with them for at least 4 years. They are both professional and have always managed to get good footfall at the markets with lots of advertising and promoting of the markets. They always have a good variety of local high quality food producers and crafters.

If there was no Suffolk Market Events, there would be no Tensheds Bakehouse. It’s really that simple. And it isn’t just that they provide me with a great shop front, bringing customers to Sudbury and Lavenham to buy my bread, or even the marketing and promotional work they do to raise the profile of us small, specialist providers. They also provide a critical link between small traders, encouraging and supporting new ventures, sharing news and ideas, and finding solutions to problems.
